I owned this one about 10 yrs ago, found it at a local garage sale for a couple hundred bucks. When I found it, it looked like a pile of rust and dust wrapped around a lump of fuzzy white aluminium oxide!It wasn't after I got her running like a sexually assulted primate that I started cleaning her up cosmetically,it was then that I found that the psychodelic scallops on the peanut tank and wassel rear fender belonged to none other than, Ron Finch, A well reknowned detroit area custom painter and builder from the late sixties and early seventies. I sold the bike a few months after my son was born for $500 in a package deal along with my GT 550 SUZUKI. Remember this was 1997 when Ron Finch was a has been and the GT550 was a lot of smoke and noise. And my Ex- wife was still my wife! I had nearly forgotten about the old girl, when low and behold she showed up in the background of a Det. Bros. biker build off episode. Through them I contacted the then current owner who notified me the bike was now for sale on E-Gay which is where I lifted this pic.
it sold for about $300 in '04 or '05, about $299 more than I could afford at the time. If anyone has any info on it"s wereabouts please contact me![/img]
