Slide screw initial adjustments

Post by Jim Stuart » Tue Dec 04, 2007 2:37 pm

Is there any more to Ed Moore's suggestions. His directions are excellent, until I got the the part about starting it up. It starts, however his instructions don't give an idea how far the slide screws should be turned back in. I fooled around for quite a while, and finally wound up with the slide screws about 2 turns out, and finally got an idle. Any idea of initial setting for slide screws?

Thanks

Jim Stuart
