Hey Guys. New to the forum. Picked up a '64 CA77 last week.
First off let me say I know nothing about Carbs. Usually if I study it long enough tho, I can kinda grasp it.
One side of the float in my carb looks to be bent down and not level. Got a new float ordered, but not sure how to get the old one out. Is the pin holding it in threaded or is it just pressed in. How do I get it out?
Wanted to ask here before I go banging on it.
Thanks,
Mark

the pin is a light push fit but corrosion will make it tighter. support the opposite post and try with a very thin punch to tap it gently. Not too hard as the support posts are easily broken.
