The 1960s was an era that celebrated the mobility in many ways. While the biggest fins had come and gone by the turn of the decade, the chrome and toaster aesthetic stayed on, steadfastly evolving toward the high horsepower "muscle car" and "super bike" era at the decade's end. In the midst of it all, the shapes of motorcycle accessories lingered and spanned the gap between fashion and utility.
