I bought the rebuild kit from Ebay and had trouble with it being too hard to open and close. It was so hard to move the high level tube broke where the metal goes to the rubber due to it flexing everytime I opened and closed the petcock.I've read some people putting some sort of grease in it to help it slide.Metal sandwiched between rubber does not want to move well. They sent me a new kit free. Not sure what I could have done to make it work any easier?I just put a mower shut-off in line now and leave it on reserve all the time.Petcock does not leak which I'm happy with.
