Clutch problems - tried everything (I know of)The large screw?
I turned it to line up with the mark, as per the clutch adjust directions (assuming I got them right). Once on the bike, the screw only rotates from 12 to 4, with the mark being about halfway. Is that the proper travel? Something tells me something was put in wrong with that screw or the barrel on the inside. It's the only thing left, unless the PO put in one too many clutch plates or something. Again, many thanks.
Turn the adjuster clockwise until it stops.
Turn back apx. 1/8 inch. Tighten the bolt and ya should/may have a clutch. .....lm
Gentlemen, we have a clutch....
Just got back from first test drive. Only took hours of free tech support on the phone from LM. Full report to follow, but short answer is "wrong number and thickness of plates in the basket." Now, I need to deal with the two stripped left cover bolts that are leaking oil everywhere.....
